One thing I figure about business books......they are the exact opposite of scientific books. Think about it. Most scientific publications are full of theories...which take decades, or atleast years before they are proven right..or wrong. Most business books, on the other hand, are written by consultants who have seen the practical parts work in a dozen places before they spot the pattern and write a book about it.
Easier to write a business book? Maybe. Who knows. To each his own.

Well, yes that's true and also that scientific books are very precise and exact. Business books cannot have anything absolute as there are no absolutes in business, no theories for sure shot success.
Writing business books is easier? I, atleast don't agree. It's easier to put recorded facts and formulae on paper, but to comprehensively and logically write down all your observations and decipher a pattern out of it is a lot more difficult, but then that is my personal opinion. As you said, to each his own :)

Hey Swetank, almost every business book I have read seems to preach something that occurs more out of common sense than any radical theeory.
Yet we seem to ignore our intuition, and sometimes even logic...and just follow inane and outdated systems simply because they exist..
